2 days left for Nano wrimo and I am just over the 10,000 word line, that’s a crazy amount of words to write, but in many ways this is my style. Things have come up this month that kept me off story, but even if I wasn’t keying it in, I have been thinking it through, possibly far enough to get 20K a day out of the story running around in my head.
If it doesn’t get down am I going to let it go? Probably.
Still, things through the month have shaped the story after I first started thinking over the premise, and I will write them here to share how the process has worked.
“The Tennessee Six,” is from a Tenessee License Plate on an Obnoxious SUV that drove like a jerk on my commute home one day. TNSIX_ _ _, or something like that. was thinking about what Eddie would be oing, and thought a generic little backwoods combo would suit him fine.
The rest of this, I am trying to decide what he is actually struggling with, and maybe have come up with a stab at it, along the lines of his motive in the first movie, “Doing what nobody has done before..”, but giving it a name, and seeing where I can take it because the writers in that movie just waved it around for a couple scenes. It’s my best shot at a good plot now, because having it be about his raising/losing/helping a young child that may be severely ill is what else I have and all that is on my mind right now.
